1. Beat the Bomb

255 Water Street, Dumbo, map

This is an escape game but better. You work as a team to go room by room through challenging activities (like dodging lasers) to gather up points for the final room: the paint bomb. I'd like to think we were really close to not being bombed but isn't it more fun to have paint splattered on you anyway?

2. Sip & Play

471 5th Avenue, Park Slope, map

Anytime there is boba involved my happiness can almost always be guaranteed, but this place is more than just tapioca and tea. Sip & Play has over 300+ board games, food, drinks, and the sweetest staff. There's a game for everyone and you can easily play for hours.

3. Social Cues

35 Meadow Street, East Williamsburg, map Multiple locations

An unexpected favorite, Social Cues lets you privately rent rooms equipped with billiards, darts, and karaoke. It's BYOB (and your own food) and the more friends you bring the more affordable it gets.

If you're looking for a unique pre-game spot before a night of bar hopping or clubbing in Brooklyn then Social Cues is your spot. For food and games, check out Sip & Play. For something to do with your most competitive of friends Beat the Bomb is a must!
