In honor of World Mental Health Day, Purina Cat Chow brings the healing power of cats to NYC college campuses with the mobile Therapod — a cozy wellness pod designed to offer stressed students a peaceful 10-minute therapy cat session.
What to Expect at the Therapod Pop Up 🧘♀️🐈
🐾 Therapy Cat Sessions – College students 18+ can unwind with calming, screen-free time petting therapy cats in a quiet, welcoming space.
🍃 Digital Detox Required – Entry requires temporarily handing over your phone to promote mindfulness and stress relief.
📅 Dates & Locations:
Oct 8, 1 PM–5 PM: 820 Washington St at The High Line, on the corner of Gansevoort St. and Washington St
Oct 9, 10 AM–4 PM: 100 Washington Square East, near the NYU Silver Center for Arts & Science and between Waverly Place and Washington Place
Oct 10, 10 AM–4 PM: 113 W 60th St, Near the Fordham University main campus entrance at Leon Lowenstein Center
🎟️ RSVP required; some walk-up spots open first-come, first-served. Student ID required.
