FX’s The Lowdown Pop Ups
September 18
Get a double dose of FX’s The Lowdown on September 18 with two very different—but equally cool—NYC pop-ups:
🍰 Brooklyn Diner Pop-Up (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)Step into the world of The Lowdown at Brooklyn Diner Times Square, where complimentary pie + coffee are served up in true small-town Americana fashion. Inspired by Sweet Emily’s—the hangout spot of Lee Raybon (Ethan Hawke)—this activation lets New Yorkers grab a treat and a taste of the show. Free and open to the public while supplies last (one per person).
📚 Literary Event at Housing Works (5:30 PM – 8:00 PM)Head downtown for an intimate evening at Housing Works Bookstore featuring authors Christopher Bollen and Megha Majumdar. Expect a thoughtful conversation bridging noir literature and FX’s The Lowdown, plus select readings that tie into the series’ themes of truth, corruption, and mystery. RSVP required for entry. 21+ with valid ID. Entry is first-come, first-served and not guaranteed.
